The following is an interview with Raylene from the Compassion Chronicle, an internet magazine.

The Compassion Chronicle

Following is an interview with Raylene Abbott, author of "A Garden of Woman's Wisdom." The book was published with Halo Books, under her previous name, Raylene Veltri.

You can find this book at amazon.com where it sells as a five-star book.

TCC: Can you say a few things about your book, what is it about?

Raylene: "The Garden of Woman's Wisdom" is a road map through romantic relationships and beyond, finding your Divine Beloved within yourself. The book uses simple symbolic language of flowers to convey my message. The book takes you through the disenchantment and heartache that is often experienced in relationships, and transforms the disillusion into wisdom.

A sideline in the book is me expressing my horticultural understanding of each of the 22 flowers mentioned.

TCC: What are you doing now, what is important to you now?

Raylene: Over the last three years, I have written two different books. I am in the process of finding a publisher for them.

One of my new books is called "Between The Visions." The book is about healing the separation of sexuality, and spirituality. It covers the healing of the Divine feminine, womb healing and my own experience in sacred relationship.

TCC: Can you say something about sacred relationship? Over the last three decades we saw the sexual revolution, the sobering effect of AIDS, and the dissolution of many dead marriages through staggering divorce rates. Is there an alternative to superfical promiscuity and dead marriages?

Raylene: First I must explain my own inner landscape which operates and is guided by many spiritual visions. In 1990, I was given what I call a planetary vision. In this vision I saw from on high a shaft of light that came to Earth and permeated a male and a female body. It went deep into the Earth. The male and the female turned to each other, both were connected to the one source as one. However, simultaneously each in their own right were separate pillars of light.

As they looked at each other, they were doing a type of energy yoga wherein a circle of light streamed through their bodies, connecting their minds, their hearts, their souls and their sexuality. Then I saw the same vision, in many couples on this earth. Through their process it created more light on this planet. Then I saw them go into an ark (like Noah's Ark), each holding hands, going in two-by-two, returning to God.

TCC: In other words, you are seeing a completely new paradigm for relationship on the horizon....

Raylene: Yes. I have found that one may have a vision, but it can take many years to manifest. I did not see the fruit of this vision in my own life until seven years later. I had been in a relationship during the time of this vision and I tried to make the vision fit the relationship and it did not work because the right alchemy did not exist between us.

In a sacred relationship, each person has to come to the relationship with a certain amount of spiritual, emotional and psychological work accomplished. They must also have a strong connection to the Divine. But even with these components a sacred relationship is not guaranteed. The three ingredients that make a sacred relationship are: Each person sees the other completely and accepts the other in that seeing. Next, great love is present. And last, there must be compatabilty between the two personalities. When all these ingredients come together, there will be an explosion of Divine Power of such magnitude that both parties' lifestreams become a mighty river, rushing to the ocean of Divine Union. When this is experienced, life's circumstances will have to totally be rearranged to accommodate the event.

I speak this not from intellectual perception, but from the experience of finding the mystical marriage, first within myself, and drawing to me my spiritual counterpart and experiencing this mystical marriage together.

TCC: What is the mode of operation in a sacred relationship? What is on, what is off?

Raylene: One must understand the energetic reality that takes place when both parties see and experience the God/dess in each other. This experience needs to be protected, sheltered and cultivated if the real work is going to be grounded by the couple. The coming together with such great love is propelled by the Divine Power. It is designed to bring more light to this planet. Each couple will have its own, unique work to contribute which will benefit all beings. Unlike the promiscuous relationships of the 70s, this energetic union would become diluted and polluted by sharing partners. The average marriage often exists without a higher purpose. Many relationships bring more negativity and emotional bondage to the planet. The sacred relationship introduces the honoring of the Divine feminine and the Divine masculine. The male completely opens his heart to his partner, letting her penetrate him with her wisdom, love and upliftment. By doing so the woman lets the Divine masculine penetrate her sexually, which creates an energetic light circuit in both of them. This clears away all emotional and psychological blockages wherein the Divine light can manifest through two forms.

The Divine male respects and acknowledges what the Divine feminine brings. She can propel him to success in the world and vice-versa. That success is connected with Divine compassion, wisdom and the Divine Plan. Their spiritual purpose together can affect thousands of people. It creates waves and brings direly needed change in this world. The balancing of the Divine feminine and masculine, first within yourself, then through the outer Sacred Relationship, will first be a ripple, then a wave. Then, when more Sacred Relationships become activated, it will become a tidal wave of great change upon this planet, sweeping away abuse, disrespect and co-dependency.

TCC: Thank you, Raylene.
